Bush: Anthem should be sung in English – Latin music – MSNBC.com

OK…that’s it.

I’ve been on the Pro-Immigration side and this was just ….. just….infuriating; upsetting; <add your own adjective>.  The idiot who decided to do this….Adam Kidron, why did he choose Spanish?  Why not Russian, or Chinese?

It’s interesting that no huge artist would touch it (Gloria Estefan, Rick Martin, Enrique Iglesias…et al)  He had to enlist the talents of a sex offender (Gloria Trevi) and a no name "regaetton" artist to pull it off.

I should ask one of the Spanish radio stations if they would play an english version of "El Grito de Guerra"…hmmm…

Re: Triathlon adventure – FINALE

IT IS FINISHED

It was definitely harder than I thought it would be.

When I finished the swimming leg, I could not run to the transition area.  I had to walk.  Slowly.  I know I worried the lifeguards because one was watching me and even got up from her chair once to make sure I was OK.  At least I wasn’t last in my heat.  Not even second-to-last.

The bike leg wasn’t too bad, except for the Arizona desert humidity made me *SO* thirsty and I had to juggle my water bottle and ride at the same time.  There were two hills; one whose grade wasn’t so bad, but whose distance was almost half the leg.  The other hill wasn’t as steep but was against the wind…ugh.  I passed a LOT of people on this leg.

The running leg….that was the killer.  A dusty road just as the Arizona sun was coming to its peak.  I passed no one.  I got passed by people in the heat *after* me.  My heart rate Max is 185…I know it was over 200 during this leg.  I was able to sprint the last 200 meters or so.

Would I do it again?  Not today.  Ask me in a month.  Iron Man will have to go on without me this year.

RE: Triathlon adventure 2

Im watching the first heats finish and I am wondering what I have gotten myself into.

I haven’t even started and this has been an adventure.

I go to pick up my bike and upon riding it home, the rear tire blows. This means that i will miss the carpool and have to drive up myself. (I should mention I dont know where Thatcher AZ is.) so I end up driving 170 miles out of my way and arrive 3 hours late, tired and hungry.

The scenery is nice.

Gotchas….

I’ve started to document gotchas. At my SharePoint site (http://www.igotittech.com) I’ve added a doclib named "Ad Hoc Error Logs". My first entry is for Virtual Server R2 and the huge gotcha that exists during installation.
